Our campsite is from all similar types of accommodation in Prague the only central located. You can spend your free time in a relaxing and pleasant place, hidden in the heart of Prague – in the city with a magical atmosphere, ancient history blended with modern architecture and vibrant nightlife.
Žižkov district was originally part of the sparsely populated countryside outside of Prague. Change came through the decision of Emperor Charles IV in 1358 to establish vineyards arend Prague within a radius of about free miles. Pražačka (area name) was one of the vineyard settlements, disappear in the course of the 19the century, but it is remembered in local name.
On your way down to the centre from our campsite, you can take a walk or cycle through the picturesque park on Vítkov Hill. On the top of the hill there is a majestic statue of the one eyed general Jan Žižka of Trocnov – the winner of famous battle in 1420, which took place here on the hill. There you can visit Museum of Great History of Czechoslovakia in 19th and 20th century. Standing on the top of Vítkov hill you get wonderful view of the whole scene of Prague downtown and it´s surroundings. Spectacular and unforgettable magical sunset over the city would be something you don’t want to miss. From there it’s just a quick run down straight to the city lights and the city-center where you can meet the world.
